Welcome to Metron

Metron B.V. was founded in 1946 and started life as a manufacturer of stainless steel components. Over the years, it has evolved into a modern, all-round company with an injection moulding unit for the production of custom-made plastic products, a fully-equipped tool shop for the manufacture of dies and moulds, a welding unit, and an international sales unit. We are one of the few mould specialists in the Netherlands to operate a 400-ton injection-moulding machine, allowing us to produce items weighing up to 1.6 kg. As our moulds are manufactured in China, we are in a position to create unique, single-piece items at highly competitive prices.

 

Activities

- Production of a variety of plastic products, ranging from high-tech goods to consumables, and covering single-piece as well as metal insert items.
- Production of moulds (mainly for our own injection moulding unit), stamping dies and tools for assembly purposes.
- Production of metal products (using bending/forming, die-cutting, welding and milling equipment - from raw materials to finished items).

Our clients are based in the Benelux, Germany, England and Switzerland, and include leading manufacturers in the display, sunblind, lighting, automotive, furniture, machine engineering, electronics, toy and construction sectors. Metron is an established organisation, yet dynamic and young at heart. Our corporate philosophy centres on flexibility, the ongoing accumulation of expertise and discretion. By closely cooperating with Van Smirren Mould Design B.V., residing at the Metron offices, we can overlook and coordinate the development of a product - from concept to finished good.
